Pottery works full of inspiration and playfulness

Utsuwaya MENAMI is a pottery shop with the motto “Colorful, Powerful and Reasonable” produced by Noriko Yamamoto who used to run the popular Obanzai (Kyoto style deli) restaurant in the Kiyamachi area.  Their items are mainly works by young artists.  The charming pottery has unique colors and shapes and displays an abundance of original ideas.  The photo is of one of Daiki Takashima’s works.  His ceramics with their delicate lines are simply delightful.  The size of the ceramic varies and will give you new ideas for your home cooking.  A simple and useful glass glaze container made by Daiki Takashima is 12,600 yen.
