Relax and enjoy the Japanese tea and sweets
The cafe is situated near Ninna-ji Temple; a short walk down towards Myoshin-ji Station on the Keifuku line from Kinukake-no-michi road, which runs in front the temple. The owner, Kazuko Inoue, started Sanowa eager for her customers to enjoy delicious Japanese tea. Only carefully selected tea from trusted tea growers are offered in the cafe. Seven kinds of Japanese tea such as “Karigane” and “Shikimatsuba” produced in Ujitawara district are available. All the teas are made with the mountain spring water of Kyomitoge valley. Rolled cake “Omuro” made by Yoko Tsuda, who is a famous sweet maker in Kyoto, is also available. Enjoy and relax with your choice of tea and sweets.
