A small boutique hotel with Asian tastes
Llocated on the Shinmonzen Street lined with antique shops, their red colored door is exceptionally impressive. It is a small hotel that has only seven rooms, however, each room is designed for “Kachofugetu” (flowers, butterflies, wind and moon) with an exotic atmosphere, and decorated with Karakami (sliding paper door paper) from “Karacho” who has succeeded their tradition since the Edo period (1600-1868) and Chinese and Western antique items. It would feel like as if you were warmly invited to a house by your foreign friend. Since 80% of theie guests are foreigners, the hotel provides western style breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, which is preferred by vegetarians. The guests can enjoy fruit, yogurt, bread that is freshly baked, various kinds of handmade Jam, espresso and a variety of teas. Here you can have a relaxing time looking over the clear Shirakawa River from the salon.
