Gohan, Café, Osake Nichijo Sahan+
Perfect healthy meals for your body
This is a relatively new café opened in the Sanjo downtown area. Because the owner wishes to provide the so-called “daily dishes” that Japanese people often eat at home, while considering nutritional balance at the same time, their menu at first may not look very original or outstanding. Vegetables are brought directly from organic farms and the chef takes time to cook them into healthy dishes. Their hearty dishes became popular among local housewives and workers very soon after the opening. The most popular menu is the set including one soup and three dishes and you can choose either white or brown rice. Every dish indicates the calorie content so customers can check their intake. A selection of alcoholic drinks are available at dinnertime and patrons like to take their time enjoying the delicious dishes and Japanese sake surrounded by antique furniture and Asian art items.
